Board approves Crecco promotion and legal services contract for PFAS litigation.

NY CARMEL — Carmel's Town Board unanimously advanced Sergeant Sandy Crecco to Detective Sergeant effective March 12, capping a career path that began with the NYPD in 2015 and included roles in community relations, youth liaison, and emergency response leadership. Supervisor Michael Cazzari and the full board also authorized a contract with NSPR Law Services d/b/a Napoli Shkolnik for legal services related to PFAS contamination cleanup in town water districts, and approved the purchase of a 2026 Chevrolet Tahoe PPV for the Police Department under state contract.
