Carmel Town Board approves three highway equipment purchases

NY CARMEL — Carmel Town Board approves $336,000 in highway equipment purchases. The five-member board unanimously authorized acquisition of three vehicles for the Highway Department on Superintendent Michael Stern's recommendation: a 2026 Ram 5500 cab and chassis at $72,940.25, a 2015 Chevrolet 1500 pickup at $17,211, and a 2027 Freightliner M2-106 boom truck at $246,205. All board members voted unanimously on each purchase.
