NY CARMEL — Carmel Town Board approves $500,000 in bonded borrowing for roads and equipment. All board members unanimously authorized $250,000 for road reconstruction and resurfacing and another $250,000 for a new Caterpillar wheel loader for the Highway Department; both require voter approval via permissive referendum. The board also awarded a three-year landscaping contract to Lake Mahopac Landscaping at $57,000 annually for 2026 and 2027, and $59,850 for 2028.
