Carmel Town Board Schedules $2 Million CDBG Infrastructure Hearing

NY CARMEL — Carmel Town Board schedules $2 million CDBG water infrastructure hearing. Supervisor Michael Cazzari and the five-member board voted unanimously 5-0 on June 10 to schedule a public hearing for July 1 to receive community input on the town's proposed Community Development Block Grant application for Water District No. 2 infrastructure improvements. The board also unanimously authorized a security camera access memorandum of understanding between the Town of Carmel Police Department and Mahopac Central School District; approved a new $500 fireworks display permit fee effective immediately; and approved a $16,350 remediation and abatement services contract with Servpro, Inc., of Poughkeepsie for Sycamore Park Theatre upon the recommendation of Recreation Director Nina Kallmeyer.
