NY CARMEL — Carmel Town Board schedules June hearing on $12.9 million water project. Supervisor Michael Cazzari and the board voted unanimously May 13 to hold a public hearing June 3 on a proposed facility upgrade for Carmel Water District No. 2, with a maximum estimated cost of $12,911,963. The project involves construction of a new water filtration plant at a town-owned Brewster Road site, determined to have no significant environmental impact under state review.
The board also unanimously approved a resolution acknowledging that the Town Court's 2025 records and docket have been properly examined and all fines were duly collected and transferred to town officials.
