Town Board approves fourteen resolutions on infrastructure and appointments

NY CARMEL — Carmel Town Board unanimously approved fourteen resolutions on infrastructure and services in a rapid evening session. Supervisor Michael Cazzari and four councilmen authorized a $337,512 generator replacement bid to D. Owens Electric and a $26,200 contract amendment with J.
Robert Folchetti & Associates to expand water quality testing for PFOA/PFOS compounds across two additional districts. The board appointed Rachel Delduco, Erica Pipitone, Alyssa Hochstein, Joseph Doherty, and Christina Buccina to the Recreation and Parks Advisory Committee through 2028 and released two development site performance bonds totaling $320,000. A $70,000 annual planning services contract renewal with Cleary Consulting for 2027-2028 was tabled for future consideration.
